well i basically make everything fucking homemade now, but i guess the most frequent dish that i make is vegetable lo mein because my gf always requests it.
but my personal favorite to make would probably be something like black bean burgers or black bean ravioli or maybe the hummus ravioli. i dunno. i should start a thread documenting all of my homecooking for boyah

also, i like things reasonably hot. i love garlic and onion. i put garlic and onion in a lot of thigns i make and usually some red pepper flakes somewhere.
oooohhh. i love cumin too. i make my own taco seasoning because fuck them and my cumin mixtures taste better anyway. but it tastes goodon so much more than tacos.

nice. can you share some cumin mixture recipes or anythin else pertaining to spice, cuz I'm all up in that cumin,chili powder too. also pepers and cilantro make any dish better. have you tried mixing the mint, with the spice? that is a potent taste sensation my friend.

i don't quite have any specifics, i usually just eyeball it
i usually mix it all into a shaker for convenience. I'll list what i usually put in in order of greatest quantity
cumin
garlic powder
onion powder
fresh black pepper
hot chili powder
cayenne
red pepper flakes
salt

basically i throw whatever the fuck i see in my little spice rack in there that i think tastes good. i have a lacking spice rack right now.
for me its pretty much the more spice/herb/flavors there are the better, even if it ever does end up being a jumbled mixture

my gf just brought home some cilantro from the green house at the univers...ity
i want to make some friggin pico de gallo or some sort of cold salsa that sound delish

i haven't tried mixing mint in with any of the spice, no. but i did just find a big container of mint in the cupboard this morning so i'll experiment with that

mm yea that cayenne, I have to get me some. i only have a little rack (it's actually a corner) n I just buy another spice thing when I'm makin a meal, I'm about due for another, think it'll be cayenne

what I figured out recently is that you can make quesadillas or tacos like on another level if you just SPIRNKLE IN SOME CINNAMON -- you know what I'm sayin? it's the secret ingredient. maybe you already know this. if not, get excited

the last one i attended was probably for the kid from my high school that died when i was like a junior or so. he went out to fish on mothers day fishing opening with two other people in a jon boat and then it capsized and everyone else swam to shore and he was kasplat.

but yea it was a funeral i guess so 2/10
