so my girlfriend's mother is an active artist, and i've always been impressed with her work. but that is mostly because she is really the only person i know well who is capable of doing things like this i guess
i'm just interested to see what some others perception are on her work. so i'm going to share a few pieces and hope some of you reply with honest answers and flourish into some possible discussion

1st piece
this is a painting of the stone arch bridge. it is actually a really popular painting for her. she often recreates it for clients. personally, though, i only think this one is okay.
2nd piece
this piece is called moving forward. i believe this is the painting that she used my girlfriend for as a rough model.
3rd piece
this is a series called We Travel. this is one of my more preferred. as a whole, i feel it is a good piece. but the last painting in that series, on its own, is one of my favorites.
4th piece
this piece is called Come Hither. i was told this is another that clients seem to like.
5th piece
this is called Gaia Enchantment. this one really grew on me.
6th, and last piece, for now
this one is called The Source. it is probably my current favorite.
they're all extremely well done and very impressive. in a general sense and hypothetically speaking i would definitely be interested i the first one, it just strikes me so perfectly, the flame and water feelings, society, all of it! the last one is quite stark, but all of them are quite beautiful and very wonderful examples of someone's passion and talent.

??????

3rd and 6th ones are my favorite

don't let's

I like them, and I like the style and the colors of the pieces.
I'm not very art inclined and I know nothing about the technical side so this is all I can offer. But I like what I like and these very pleasing to look at.

they're damn good, I like the 6th and the last We Travel panel the most too . the 6th seems the most vivid and original to me.

I think she's really good.  I think it must have taken her a long time to do these paintings, but I wonder how long.  I also love how I feel like the sun is setting in every painting.  Do you know what she mainly uses?  Oil, acrylic, watercolor, maybe india ink, oil pastels, etc.?  I like the first one of the Stone Arch Bridge, the background for We Travel, and Gaia Enchantment
