Hard to say. And I really should have expected this question lol.
For this generation, so far it's Skyrim like I've mentioned in the chat thread.
As for cross-generation... hell, I'm not even sure what my favorite console is. I used to really like the original Star Fox when I was a kid, as well as the NES/SNES Mario games.

The fact that it's a forum about everything and nothing simultaneously and still remains remotely active. Mix that with a great community (which is something other forums with no particular topic, ie 4chan and Reddit, don't have) and you end up with a forum that's apart from everything else.
