Doesn't "POTD" refer to "post" more often than "poll"?

What needs to be photoshopped? My avatars always are just the character with a blank background. In this case I do need to use image editing to clear that background, but models and stuff should naturally come out to be nice pictures usable as an avatar or whatever.
