dude it is pretty weird how well we know each other over an online medium
i mean i'm not even that active compared to a lot of you (and i never enter the chat thread lol) and i feel like i have a very good understanding of a lot of you (but do i actually?)
all the "post what you're listing to/gaming/eating/downloading/smoking/etc" threads really provide some insight on people

i would be curious how well everyone actually knows eachother. we should make some sort of quiz or something like that episode of friends

I feel very much the same way, as if I could express, perhaps in writing perhaps in some other form, the essence of each and every Boyager that I have come to know. Irregardless of their social affairs, there is a person there who knows some particular things and is trying to figure out the world with his frame, and concept. I can recognize this in each and every person, down to their individual quirks and natural behavior. Sometimes even if I haven't actually seen them in person.

It it weird because 80% of communication is non verbal and certainly the entirety of our evolutionary lineage could have not foreseen such a thing as this, a domain of thought, in the system of writing, without bounds or interaction (in the physical sense). But this is also not true, because to compensate we theorize and learn, that the most subtle impressions in terms of style, manner and mood, translate into bigger schemes of troubles, issue and doubts. Individual in their own right.

you know how in your head and in your life and in your room and in your heart you avoid certain places and certain ideas, specific thoughts and complications? well, we all have to have some peace of mind of that is freedom of expression, without any oversight from nearer eyes.

for me personally, the circumstances in which i know you all and interact thereof are different, from lets say people whom i may know from work, school or some other social function and heritage. i don't want those two separate and distinct facets of my life to come together, because they are already one, but only in me. and that's the way i want it to be and it should be.

i don't know, i'm not secretive, just compartmentalized, so i don't hide. but have this sense of wanting to know every bit of and how far the information about it extends and to whom.

i have a hard enough time trying to compose my own self image, i don't need half assed opinions from others with their incomplete fragments.

my sisters know I have "internet friends" and they know I visit Boyah, one of them knows some of your names because she sees them on facebook and whatnot. some of my friends know as far as me knowing people on message boards.
just last night i was in the G+ hangout when a friend came over and i told him what was happening. later last night Drew called me and my friend took the phone from me and started talking to him

oh and my mom somehow knows my online name is Hiro

my mom and my sisters know that i have online friends i watch movies with and do g+ hangouts with, but that's about all they know about them

obviously my ex-girlfriend knows a hell of a lot about all of you

my friend john knows about as much as my mom and sisters do, i guess, because i mention sometimes what we're watching in anime stream at the time.
