tonight, people were happy and generally generous. it was not at all as if I was missing things. but, i also sent a package in the mail with some things for a very dear friend. it wasn't so bad, I rushed home and there was hardly any activity here, it seems...

I had to work yesterday which kind of sucked. My boyfriend lives 7 hours away & we already "celebrated" Valentine's Day last week so that wasn't a big deal. But work (I work in a grocery store) was swamped with people buying last minute gifts. Then I had to stay an extra hour after close to block (move shit forward on the shelves) because the store was a mess.

On top of that I learned that my boyfriend's pretend underway (basically they make them all stay on the carrier and pretend as if they're underway, but they don't actually leave port) was delayed a day so I can't go see him this weekend. And that a real underway scheduled for April was moved up so I probably won't be able to move up there at all. So yeah. Happy Valentine's Day!
