It turns out that Leon will be joined by a brand new, highly alliterative security worker named Helena Harper, while Chris Redfield's partner remains unknown.

In non-human characters, the snarling beast seen in the trailer repeatedly (and above) is named "Javo," and is said to have an "even greater impact than the zombies." He gives us a Nemesis vibe, which is to say, "He looks and sounds terrifying," even though his name makes him sound like a barista. The third main protagonist also hasn't been named, and has only been referred to thus far as "the man who's told to save the world." From what we gleaned in the trailer, he'll only do so for a price.

Based on the trailer, I'm hoping Chris' gameplay is more action-packed (his parts just seemed like a full-on shooter and not at all RE-like) while Leon keeps a slower and scarier pace. That new guy seems odd, very acrobatic and I dunno. Having Ashley in the game is hilarious (but cool). I wonder how the whole multiple main character thing will work out.
Leon looks kind of weird though, like his face seems older but his hair is even longer almost to the point of cartoonish-ness
The game does look very polished, but 5 seemed polished almost to the point of making the game a little boring.
I really don't have an opinion either way yet, I'll just have to play it to see.

Still, I was under the impression that 6 was going to be a reboot or at least take a very different direction for the series.

Maybe like it's going to work like Resident Evil 2 did?
