Konami bought Hudson and now they're closing it. No word if the franchises die, but I wouldn't doubt it.

Their quality was never the best, but they had some great classic series. And knowing Konami, they're dead now.

In a surprising turn of events, Konami is just changing Hudson into a Konami brand.

Here's a statement from Konami's Hudson group:

So yay. All those 3DS games I was looking forward to may still be in development, since the Japanese website is still running.
