I was driving and I was thinking that this world is too crowded for me. I could hardly get up to speed when I saw the big and square apartment building. It looked rightout of the 50s, with its dual doors and maroon two tone hue. A quick look at the plaque confirmed this to be true. I was overjoyed and saw the many windwos laid about in rows ans columns, some were open, most were closed. Awash with gray curtains. I wondered, which one was me, brooding in the faded light? Which one was asleep and which one was airing out, fumes, smoke, dust of previous nights and time. I could not say, so I went on by. I left the many stories and people behind. There was a chopper in the sky, a CH-53 Super Stallion--military, probably marines. It seemed like a giant cement truck with wings and a rotor blade. There were two fuel tanks. Where did it come from? I stopped to see, it was 2 and I was bored, what to do? The whiskey shots were over an hour ago and I was running out of steam, sweat was rising slowy. Somehow in the distance I could make out a cat. It was black and leab and I could tell it saught out something, a search. Perhaps I was drunk perhaps I was lonely, but it had the most distinct marks! Four white paws and a single white spot, below its neck and the fur seemed fake, as if was had on the finest tux. I rummaged through my bag and I found a dutch what the hell I did not know this was there. I could not remember buying it but I was mad. There must be some bud around. Where is it hiding? I have rolled over 500 blunts in this car and when I am desperate the carpet and crevices hold little kernels and bits of weed and whatnot. I discovered in my inner consol a whole nugget just sitting there! Out in the open and exposed. What a miracle. I had never expected this. Oh the joy of being a pot head! It had lost all smell so it had been there for  while, but boy was it dry and boy did it light up. I saw the white specks of the crystals and the red hairs frozen there. A but there was a metallic haze, and it swept over the whole landscape, filling the vision from end to end. It was surreal it was laborical and it made everything stand out in stark contrast and high shine. It was not right. It made colors brighter and the shadows dark. Like a spotlight. But this is the scene cast from an amaretto sunset. I noticed the clouds roll and puff up across the horizon, in shapes of turmoil and of agression. This is me I thought. In my mind and in the spaces there, are clouds that build and sail across all of the synapses. This is me lost in the wonder. Where the winds run asunder and I know the curve and terench, for I have almost crashed here before. What am I even saying now?

The days of searching the car crevices for extra bits of weed and enough nickels to get dollar menu drive-through food, I almost wish they'd never left  hocuspocus;

I once went over a bridge accidentally and found myself in New Jersey. I was high so you can see how this could happen. So I drove to the cheapest bridge and lucky the night before I had somehow recieved a golden dollar or else I would have been arrested. There were barely enough dimes in and around the deck to make the toll and pass on in to Philadelphia.

I was driving along fine and this baby boomer which plagues our coast decided to slow down. We were only doing 80 so I went around him and sped off. Yeah I know what the sign says, but that sign just hangs there and reads the same thing all day and all night long. Onmy somone with very little imagination would flow that. I gearn for the open, unrestricted stretches of the MidWest, where I can ride off into oblivion.
