i think about my best friend a lot and i guess she's sort of like an ex but in dreams she is there a lot but we are best friends.

after almost 10 months i still think about her every night and sometimes i can't sleep because of it

it's confusing to be harboring such disgust wig her for what she did to me while simultaneously pitying and worrying about how she's doing in he hospital. i've been talking to her mom a lot about he situation and she's been p helpful since she kind of keeps me updated about how anya's doing without actually having to talk to her. i might go visit her in he hospital, but I'm also kind of afraid to. I feel like not beig able to communicate with her at all over the last 2 weeks has been more helpful than not and idk how i'm gonna feel when I actually get there. i hope to be able to see her and show her that I care just as a friend but I don't know how realistic the probability of that actually being like that is

It's good that you can talk to her mom about how she is doing. Seems like a critical aid. What you have been doing is probably the best. I mean, you did see her in the hospital once when she first went in, right?

Drove out and bought a sandwich over at this deli stand near the beach today. It's run by this guy named Carl.
Carl doesn't believe in advertising or promotion. Says he doesn't like manipulating people into buying his sandwiches through a psychological means. Says advertising is immoral because it's taking advantage of people.

So, I suggested he just put up a plain sign that says "sandwiches next right" on a piece of very plain wood.
But, that's still implanting an idea in someone driving by. The idea that they might need a sandwich, something they may not have been thinking while driving by.

So, I suggested he make a sign catering directly to people seeking a sandwich. But, he countered with the very obvious conclusion that you cant without including everyone else.

So, I walked away frustrated and ate my sandwich, and it was delicious and I wanted everyone driving by to notice this place, to want one too.

And then I got hit by a car.
