Who loves thrifting?! Share some wonderful purchases from te thrift store and or a garage sale or anything similar.


I went thrifting two days ago and got three flannels for a dollar each, a beastie boys tshirt for $2, a pair of converse for $4, and an apple shaped tea kettle for my girlfriend.

i try to go to garage sales every weekend and i probably go to thrift stores at least once a month.
We got so much of what we use in our house from thrifting

at my old town our goodwill had so much good shit
no one there was knowledgeable of anything so i got all the goodies
i got this really modern great coat and these coats go well above the 200s$
and i even found this camel-hair saks blazer but i didn't get it because camelhair looks goddamn hideous on me


they have really nice chunky sweaters too, but they're all in unusual sizes--like, XL (thank god for tailoring)

I go thrifting too. I find interesting gizmos and parts that way. My big thing is very old books.

my favorite thrift store is the 'thrift center' where they have 'today only - 50% off' sales everyday

so yes, i flea/thrift/yard sale all the time

my last thrift bargain was yoshi's island (gba) for 3.50, which i posted in the recent gaems thred

I will occasionally peruse Pawn Shops and Yard Sales. There is also a huge flea market downtown. This one lady makes her own didgeridoos.
