i'm at 79 right now. i could finish the game pretty much right now, but i'm going to do the dlc first so i'll probably level several more times first

and with the consumable soul items i have i COULD level up even more but i try to save those for when i am repairing/upgrading/buying or i just need a couple thousand more souls to level up

There's also the option of only fighting him around one of the stalagmites on the floor. That way when he's at the top of it all his attack go right over your head.

jesus, knight artorias was a tense fucking battle. died twice before i realized that i could interrupt his buffing animation with three two-handed hits. died when he had like a couple hits left still though lol. got him on the fourth try pretty easy. it was still a very long, tense fight though.

i thought new londo ruins was a pretty quick, painless run through weak enemies that died in two (or three, for darkwraiths) hits

the upper area only took long enough to need to use two or three transient curses and the ghosts actually drop them pretty often if you have your item discovery up

not one of my favorite areas or anything but definitely no big deal, and surprisingly small for an area that has two sections to it

it's not that it's hard, it's just creepy as heck

the ghosts are so off-putting and the darkwraiths are so well camouflaged in their environment that i think i'd rather be in the tomb of the giants
