My cousin got his teacher's license literally two days before the shutdown. Damn lucky.

Another thing I read about today is that most bars and restaurants will run out of alcoholic beverages in the about two weeks.

From what I read I understood differently.
But feel free to clear me up on this.
The bars and establishments that need to renew their licenses at this time are unable to do so because of the shutdown, therefore they can't buy from the wholesalers to stock their alcohol and sell it. Nor will they be up to date on their licensure to sell it.
But I was under the impression that the establishments that still had valid licenses were still able to purchase from the wholesalers?

I don't know the details of how it works, but the Strib was saying that they can't purchase more. I don't know why/how that works, but it's what the Strib said.

There should be an exclusive clause in every State constitution which takes effect immediately upon the default of responsibility from the governing body. And that clause should clearly state that in such a case, all current members of the legislative and executive branches, forfeit their offices & null and void their mandate upon cessation of functional duties. It ought to stipulate and dictate a special election to fill all the vacancies, and restore life into the American Dream.

Obviously they cannot rule, morally they are derelict, legally they are degenerates, and deserve no post or title, pension or power, and certainly no reprieve. What good are they for? The whole theory of social order cannot take a rest because arguing bitches want to have a prissy recess. No sir, can't agree? Move the fuck over. And we'd see how quickly those midnight deadlines would be jerked off into concession.

I think Dayton and whoever is senate majority leader should be locked in a room with no food or water until they figure something out. What dipshits.
