a much older male teacher of mine addressed me with the term "sweetie", and i thought it absolutely strange and terrifying but i had no choice but to respond as i was the only person he could have been talking to doodthing;

i'm fairly certain there have been instances where people have called me by my name before and i still wasn't sure they were speaking to me goowan
