Currently/just finished watching/reading anime/manga thread.

so this summer, i've realized that this may be the last time of the year when i ill have so much free time.  with that, i planned to finish anime that i've wanted to finish years ago

In two and a half days, I finished Fullmetal Alchemist: Brothergood.  watching that shit reminded me of the days i spent staying up watching fma back like 6-5 years ago.

Now, I'm going to watch Inuyasha: The Final Act.

Its original title is "Yotsuba&!"
I just typed yotsubato because that's how it's pronounced in Japanese, but I don't think I've ever seen the "to" written out as anything but an ampersand the manga itself.

Does any English media actually spell out the "and"?

Index 2 isn't nearly as good as Index in my opinion

it feels like the plot gets messy and is getting way too many characters who have insufficient explanation
according to people on the internet who read the novels, the problem with Index 2 is that they rushed the adaptation and covered too many novels and that most of the novels it covered were some of the worst in the series

In general with the toaru series, I feel like the science arcs are so much more interesting than the magic arcs, with Index 2 in particular having magic arcs that emphasize that difference even more.

I watch sequels to nearly every anime I watch the first series of. The only exceptions I can think of right now are:
Pokemon, because of length
Symphogear, whose second series actually hasn't aired yet, but I have absolutely no intention of watching it

Computers (mostly Windows) tend to dislike special characters in filenames, so it wouldn't surprise me if most downloadable files related to yotsuba& are renamed to yotsubato
