Lots of people people that play grapplers prefer octagon gates.

It also makes it easier to throw fireballs. But I still prefer a square.

anyway, I'll do some modding to my tournament edition S before I buy a new stick.

I think I'm going to remove the art, get a black plexi to replace it along with a read border, then get a red balltop 6 red face buttons and 2 white ones for it

idk ANYONE who willingly uses an Octo gate while playing grapplers.

And it makes fireballs and DP's in general a lot harder to do. I'd know because I used one when I first got a stick.

Does it really matter? It's my preference so that's what I want. 
I'll probably just get the Tournament Edition one or whatever though, since it's significantly cheaper.
Even then, it'll still be hard to afford.
