The storyline for the new season involves Nancy actually spending three entire years in prison and starting a new life in New York City. I know Jenji Kohan wants this season to be the last despite her disagreements with Showtime and this is a way to ensure it, so think of this season as non-canon.

I love this show. Not so sure about this season though.

It was great until after the third season when they stepped outside of the cult of suburbia and the show becoming an anti-legalization mouthpiece.
