I'm outside in deep snow in a neighborhood of small houses. One is my grandpa's, which I'm walking to, or happened to arrive at in a group of other people … I shovel some snow away from his house (?). Later, I realize I need to get a box of rings from the house, I travel back through the snow. It is early morning and I am embarrassed to knock on the door and wake him up so early. After waiting several seconds he answers the door in a bathrobe, his appearance is not life-like, instead morphed somewhat taller and more balloon-like, he looks smoothly metallic and glows slightly, like an elfin appearance… I get the box of rings. I hug him, then we go to the living room (inside house layout is like his old house, but emptier and cleaner) and talk. The room is nearly empty except for the chair he sits in and two or three tall musical instruments next to him -- one is like a bent harp string instrument reminiscent of small African instruments, except 5-6ft tall. I don't recognize the instruments as 'real', but am fascinated by them since they seem like real instruments. We talk for awhile.
