Why wouldn't you keep the card open and keep a low to no balance (use the credit card to buy stuff and just pay from your back account each month)?

Having an account open for a long time with a low balance improves your credit and would give you better rates should you ever need to mortgage a house or finance a car.

JMV is it a bad idea to have multiple credit cards and incur debt on one, pay it off with another card, then pay that off with the next card? Assuming the timing worked so there were no fees, and I could actually pay it off. Would this jumpstart my credits or have any affect on it?

Also is there any way I can get a galactic credits card?

I'm pretty sure that's how most people accrue massive credit card debt. As long as you pay it all off you should be fine, but once you don't you're going to get screwed

paying credit card bills with credit cards is exactly what credit card owners wnat you to do so they can smack you down with horrid intrest rates.

I took out a capital one card to help pay for my smac book and I have one through us bank, but those are paid off already.
I use the us bank card primarily for gas and I just pay it off right away.

I don't think most cards let you pay with another card unless you do a balance transfer which usually has a higher APR.

It also wouldn't really improve your credit much since your total debt to available credit ratio is pretty much the same and you're only moving it around.
