I just found that scene funny where they were basically like "WE DON'T WANT COMPANIES TO BE TOO SUCCESSFUL, SO WE WILL TAX THEM MWAHAHAHAAAAAAA"

Is this real? It doesn't look real.
I can't really understand why it would be real.

Objectivism is a fucking fairy tale and the entire point of the novel was to establish that philosophy.

The characters in the novel  were cardboard and the plot was tired, so from a narrative standpoint, a film adaptation doesn't make sense.

So, we can assume that by creating a modernized adaptation of this story (which doesn't make much sense seeing as taggart was operational in a time when locomotive transport was an absolute necessity), the director/producer/everyone is trying to reanimate a tired, defunct faux-philosophy. Why?

so i heard that this is going to be a fucking TRILOGY of films

fitting for a book promoting capitalism
I support BUSH

piano moths

I don't care about objectivism but I like the Fountainhead and I like Anthem. This movie is going to be awful and much worse than the book. The book isn't the best to begin with. Haha

I think it's really weird that they decided to put it in a modern day setting because railroads wouldn't be as prominent now and also it's not as big of a deal that Dagny Taggart, a woman, controls the company
