true enough that the film is very 80s, and i certainly don't care for the silly "Power of Love" song that's kind of "the other bttf theme" (besides the actual, orchestral one)

but unlike trash like Flashdance, BttF embodies some of the better aspects of film in the 80s, I think

i dunno if i would call it amazing but it is good, classic, sci-fi fun. it's just one of those movies that seems kind of impossible to dislike. disliking the other two i can understand, but personally i very much enjoy all three (but the second one is the worst of them)

sure it's not OMGWTFBQQ AMAZING but I mean it's amazing in that it really is a classic and I always enjoy watching it.

why would the second one be your favorite, it fails to create an interesting looking future at all, and relying on Biff as a storytelling mechanism is honestly a pretty weak plot idea

i mean, it's still a good movie, but idk

i like the third one more because i feel that, despite how incredibly different it is, it gets back to the Marty+Doc duo that the second movie somewhat lacked, not to mention Doc simply is in the story more

I wasn't aware that the BttF movies were supposed to be valued for their storytelling 
[spoiler]And I like it best because the future, regardless of being unoriginal, has the hoverboard, shoes, jacket, etc, and then the awesome part where he goes back to the first movie and has to avoid himself[/spoiler]

the part where he goes back to the first movie is definitely the highlight

the first film is by far the best though if you ask me, so that's why that's the highlight of the second film - nostalgia for a better film

I agree with Time and Hiro.  The second one was always my favorite.

I guess I could rewatch BttF for the millionth time...  It's a classic, I'll agree.. Plus I have no idea if Tron is a decent movie.
