Of course. But there's a difference between actual hate and temporary "omg I hate you mom" feelings.

Yea most people experience the second, the first is entirely possible though.

I kinda wish my parents pushed me grade wise  :(

they just let me do my own thing even if it involved C's and D's plus not really doing what I needed to get into a good college

and while I don't really regret it purely from a social standpoint it may have been nice to not go to cc

Not if you're not taught anything, then given a 100 point test, on a subject you aren't taught. doodhuh;

my mom would somewhat scold me if i got like a C or below but for the most part she never really pushed me much

granted, i still got As and Bs simply because it was expected, i guess, and simply because it wasn't usually too inconvenient to do so. not like i had a whole lot else to do.

i really just drifted easily through high school

I did too but a lot of times I didn't keep up with my work and all. I usually kept above a C most of the time but I would have enjoyed a bit more strictness.

Because that will end well. akudood;
That's pretty much how you get through school, most teachers are garbage

my parents gave up on me when i dropped from straight As to bs and cs and fs

don't let's

Maybe bring this up with your parents but without the expectation for them to unground you. But just do it to let them know at least. And don't be standoffish if you do it.

Oh hell yes.

I hate my mom with a fucking passion. I really wish she would just go eat death already.

My dad is a pretty cool guy though. He'll let me pass school if it's above a 65.  :3
