The first Scream was good because it was a self-aware, playful, and well-executed slasher flick that was largely a parody of slasher films.

The sequels lost sight of that idea, and look what happened - they sucked dick.

Not bothering with the fourth one.

Amazing how Wes Craven can forget his own ideals so quickly when more money to be had is on the table.

I really can't term what this movie is. Is it just another dark comedy? I think the producers pretty much stopped masquerading Scream as a horror film series. I really can't tell the difference between "horror" and "comedy" nowadays.
