help me choose between being a creep or a normal person

dear boyah, i need quick advice. before i go into detail, i'd like to clarify that im not even looking to bone anybody, im just trying to mend an old friendship.

SO BASICALLY I have a choice to make. I can go into a class with a good friend, or I could go into a class with an old friend. The good friend has one of the best teachers in the school, however his class is filled with supposedly "boring" people. The other class, with the old friend, has one of the worst teachers in the school. she has made men cry.

the good friend is friendly, but he's boring and kind of dumb. the old friend i don't get along with anymore. we have a vast, expansive past filled with twilight-esque loving sacrifice and whatnot. basically i want to make up with her. however i've already tried in the past (though i was still a broken mess when i had tried before), and it didn't work at all. she was bipolar about it, one second she was muttering shit and the next she was asking me how i was and how was my life and how was my day and it was just terribly annoying. so i gave up, after a bit.

my decision as of now is to just go with the good friend. im just worried this is going to come back in a couple years and bite me in the ass if i dont fix things now when i might finally have the chance. im worried about putting time and energy into something that may be a lost cause. the teacher of that class doesn't tolerate any talking, so really i'd have to plan out every little tiny thing and i don't want to cross that line into creeperdom. if i fail at what im trying to do, then i'll have to deal with a garbage teacher for the rest of the year.

so, help me, my anonymous fellow boyagers. chances are i won't listen to you, but also, there's a good chance this thread will jumpstart my brain into properly thinking all of this over.
