Boogus Epirus Aurelius

I'm developing this really ugly alter-personality that seems to be blossoming from my time working a "shit-job" as some people call it. I call it a part time supplement for my future endeavors, paying for school and living and the occasional scrap of food, but it doesn't mean it's a pleasant experience by any means, although I enjoy the right to bitch and moan about my workplace which I do during any occasion that presents itself.

I've mentioned a few of my experiences in retail-land, but I won't focus on that for now. It's more the after-effects that are starting to bleed into my normal routine. It's working with and for certain people who utterly destroy any good feeling you have a and replace it with a grumpy and touchy mis-attitude.

Maybe I've always been like I am now, but I never counted myself as much. I'm more prone to impatience now, quick(er) to decide someone elses motive for doing something or another and am beginning to become more hesitant when meeting new people and gauging their character. To a  very minor degree of course, but it's still noticeable, to me at least.

Basically I'm worried my job is killing some specific part of my happy psyche and the way I initially approach people whine whine, bitch bitch.

Anyone else have a similar understanding? Here's a chance to take a crack at your boss or chronically hung-over co-workers.

I'v never really had that problem since most of the work I do (well, did anyway) has always been freelance. I just think maybe if you don't like what you'er doing then quit or something.
