i read that they're mostly caused by "trauma" to the mouth and possibly made easier to form by bad oral hygiene but i seem to get them for no reason at all when i get them, which thankfully isn't often

noo it doesn't even hurt. what works the best to eliminate them the fastest is too put some salt in it. it dries it out but it hurts like a bitch.
