Bought an Acer Aspire One on Black Friday.

Not wanting to use XP, I figure I'll put Linux on it. I've had a few years of experience with Ubuntu as my secondary OS, but I figure I might put Fedora on it this time.

Any Fedora exclusive tips and stuff I should know or will I be good to go with my Ubuntu knowledge + wikis?

Minus;

Ohhh never tried fedora.
Tell me what you think of it...ive tried a lot of others.

Will do.

Fedora is really easy, you shouldn't have a problem with it. When I switched over from Ubuntu there wasn't anything I had a problem with. I read an Installation Guide though, so maybe that's why. You can find it here: http://www.mjmwired.net/resources/mjm-fedora-f12.html

Assuming you're installing Fedora 12. If not then just change the number after the f to the version you're going to install in the URL. Main differences I found were package management (yum v synaptic) and running root (su v sudo). You can setup sudo in Fedora too though, which is what I did.

Currently messing around with the Live CD for Linux Mint and I love it. Once I send my netbook in for repairs and get it back (it's pretty fucked up right now) I am going to use Mint as my primary OS.

Woo installed Linux Mint on my netbook and got wireless working (something that I couldn't do with Ubuntu)
Okay I suck at Linux how do I get Chrome on this thing?
