Team Fortress 2. It's essentially a HL2 mod so you should be fine.

I played TF2 and thought it was ok, I don't play videogames enough to be able to play a multiplayer only game, still a fun game thoguh.
I played a demo of L4D2, shit got real!!!!!

i will try out borderlands if steam has a demo for it tomorrow
