If her computer has good specs, I don't see why she wouldn't upgrade to Windows 7.  From my time using Windows 7 back in June, it was pretty good with drivers [I don't think I had to install anything myself besides the audio driver].

I really like 7 but for some fucking reason there is a "network" tab that will not go away. I would do anything.

I just installed it last night. I love what I see. It's also running a lot better than Vista was for me, but it's possible that it's because Vista was pirated.

i was hoping to upgrade the same day i upgraded my ubuntu
but i windows 7 wasn't free like ubuntu 9.10 so oh well

It is only $30. Worth it if you use Windows XP or Vista as your main OS.

I get it free for my lap top.  And would have to pay for my desk top. Maybe I will wait and see how it goes.
