I feel like 99% of the time cops are being reasonable and are just doing their jobs and the people bitching about them are being dumbasses in the first place. Seriously, if you don't do anything stupid that draws a cop's attention, they won't do anything to you.

Well they stopped me again tonight and inquired about my recently damaged right tail light. The crisp dressed well mannered befuddling scene elicited a warning and a "good night". Two officers and their menacing lights had eyes feet away from my stash and I never flinched, and they never gained interest.
