I even tried getting out of applying online for Best Buy and they still said to apply online.  akudood;

most big businesses are trying to transition to online applications in an attempt for better organization and also to "go green"

And to not have to see people face to face and reject them.  baddood;

No, that part of the process doesn't change. With normal applications you go there, ask some clerk to hand you the application forms, you fill them out and you give your résumé. With online applications, you fill the forms online and upload your résumé.

Then someone calls you and sees you face to face and rejects you. Or you just don't get called at all. hocuspocus;

Yeah I'm looking at getting a job at Best Buy right now. I have a friend who works there who said he can get me one since he knows the guy who flips through applications.  happydood;

No more scooping poop for me.

The whole online application thing is terrible for the potential employee but it probably gives a big advantage to the company.

You could always try calling or talking to their HR to see if they've looked over your application.
Anything to set you apart from the hundreds of other admissions.

I like the good old days where you apply in a damn store (filling in paperwork) and never get a phone call... madood;
