I dont know.
Regardless of religion, there's still a really spiritual, supernatural aspect to death.
I'd like to think there's some kind of blissful realization, even if it is just floating around in nonexistence.

Why isn't this in serious business?

Regardless, I believe in God. I'm not so sure about Heaven and Hell.

I imagine death is similar to sleep (in terms of experience), without dreams or a wake up. You can never predict, induce, or recall the exact moment when you fell asleep, normally speaking. A loss of consciousness and that's it, no awareness, no internal dialogue, no post reflection, nothing, simply nothing.

Kant famously challenged us to imagine a state where nothing exists, and the human mind cannot do that in any meaningful way. I feel it is a different side of the same coin, we're just not programed as creatures to accept such a reality.

Yeah, it was kinda force fed into me until around the time I turned 14. Then I was like "religion sucks lol"

I did at one point, which was specifically a year or two ago. I don't really believe in anything, but I don't know enough to throw the possibility of something being there out the window.

I'm hoping for some sort of reincarnation.  That would be fun.
