Since this has turned a bit into mouse discussion, I really like the kind of Logitech mouse I use and it's perfect for what I want.

For what I want, I'm just hoping I can get enough parts to build a new computer. The parts I've been looking at will cost a total of about $300, not including the external user input/output devices because I have spares of them. And that will be much better than the computer I have now.
