Dirty for sure.
It's name pretty much sums it up.
The bursts of feedback and distortion is delicious, especially coupled with the angrier lyrics.
It's a little more cynical in comparison to their others.
"Well the president sucks, he's a warpig fuck, yadda yadda"

Still, daydream is mandatory listening.
Evol is good too.

I dont like sister much.

love sonic youth, you could go with any of those albums and be fine to be honest. They all are pretty much perfect

Get Dirty first, because it's the most accessible of the bunch and you're eventually going to end up getting Daydream Nation anyway.

You can go to any store and you can probably find sonic youth cds for cheap.

I have a shop right down the street from my apartment that's amply stocked and run by a friendly hippie.
And albums are disgustingly cheap there.

Time to upgrade and mosey over to Wisconsin methinks.

:< i suggest trying to find a mom and pops store, even if it is an hour away, they are the greatest. Much better then shopping online or at bestbuys.
