gamer: a fucking bad movie

I mostly saw this because it has Michael C. Hall in it, and Gerard Butler too. Hardly knew anything about it but JESUS CHRIST IT WAS FUCKING AWFUL.

The premise (a video game where players control real people, who kill each other like video game characters) is decent, and the first 15-20 minutes are... entertaining, maybe, but after that it gets so fucking confusing and tasteless that I kind of wanted to leave. Of the 95 minute runtime, probably a good 20 is completely random and undecipherable shots that have very little to do with anything

Michael C. Hall is awesome in his few scenes, though

I will give it this: it wasn't as bad as The Spirit.
