I'm left-handed, so naturally in the course of living I've adopted quite a bit of dexterity with my lesser hand. One thing I can't do with it, though, is write nicely... my print and cursive with the left hand are very nice, but with the right it looks about like an 8-year-old's (although it's still faster and more precise than most people's non-dominant hand writing, I'd say).

I decided to start writing with it for all less-important things, in order to become completely ambidextrous in writing. I think if I just keep doing it, it will eventually be as good as my left hand.

My handwriting sucks with both hands.

As for fingering ladies, I'm quite ambidextrous.

Same but my left (non-dominant) hand is a lot messier.

Daddy

I can write with both hands and it looks like shit with both.

However, due to years of using my left, it's less shitty.

don't let's

I've thought about doing this but I've never stuck with it.

I went to the gym today and found my left arm is considerably weaker than my right... a much bigger gap than normal. I guess I always overcompensated with my right

Become so good that you can write two papers at once.

In tennis it is illegal to be ambidextrous. You have to choose either a forehand or backhand, because having two forehands gives you an unfair advantage.

All interest in being ambidextrous just went out the window

I didn't know that, and it's funny no one ever told me because I used to play tennis for fun quite a bit. I always used the dual-forehand because it was natural and awesome

The dexterity of my hands confuse me.

I write and use eating utensils with my left hand, but my leading hand in all sports is my right hand.  I shoot a basketball, throw a baseball, throw a football, and play ping pong with my right hand.  It's odd.  I also play guitar right handed.

this seems to be common among most left-handed people I know, probably just a result of growing up and learning in a world made for right-handed people.

one of the ONLY things I can't do right-handed is play guitar/bass
