Sharpie Pens: highly recommended

I've used those Sharpie pens. My mom had one that had a small sharpie felt tip on one end and a Sharpie pen tip on the other. It was awesome.

I won't use anything but ballpoints, but I thought having a permanent ink pen would be a little ridiculous. I'll give them a shot, though.

it's completely different ink than regular sharpies, and regular sharpie ink isn't very permanent anyway

agreed, but mechanical ones are the only ones i'll use if i must
this is my favorite pen and this is my favorite pencil and they're pretty much the only ones i use
the pens come in silly colors like purple and green

yeah, i'm not much of a fan. as soon as i got in high school and i wasn't required to use pencils, i started using pens.
