Boyager

I once knew Mary Marmoset: singer,
philanthropist, Briton, and a left winger.
She is the improbable pop songstress:
her oleaginous facade I confess
attracted unwanted observation.
Yet Mary is not an aberration:
underneath her facade is a charming
young soul. Her hobbies included farming.
She isolates herself to hone her craft,
yet she is not a William Howard Taft.
Once you fill in on Mary Marmoset,
she will give you her recording cassettes.
Her believed birthplace is Britannica;
some people believe she was born in Kenya.
I would hope that a wise British woman
could harvest several citrus limons.
If life gives you lemons, make lemonade
at twenty-seven degrees centigrade.
If life gives you the fab metric system,
the English system sucks. Judgement in rem!
