Yeah, and whether or not that's true (I tend to think it is), I just inherently despise the idea of giving a cut of my earnings to support the nation's old shits. I can get over federal and state taxes since I do, after all, enjoy many of the services and institutions they pay for (not to mention the comforts allowed by a relatively free and unrestricted market economy), however I do not give a shit about old people especially when they are not actively improving my life. I'd rather spend the money on unemployment.
