also aww, that reminds me, yesterday we learned 'lullabye' by billy joel yesterday in choir and it was so sad yet amazing ;_;

hwy wait, that was my audition piece freshman year. Nevermind I do know a lullaby. I don't really liek that one though. :\

Audition for my choral group. You don't have to audition to get in, but new poeple need to 'audition' just because she likes to know everybody's strengths and weaknesses and what everyone sounds like and whatnot. It also serves to sort people into alto/soprano and tenor/base for those of us who hadn't sung in a group before.

oh, we do that in front of everybody, but he just plays scales to see how high or low you can go n______n
and to audition into the higher choirs you have to sing major + the three minor + chromatic scales, and sightsing sightreading of an advanced level.

we do a lot of stuf for both auditions, I just remember that being one of the audition pieces.

for the higher groups I know we have to do a couple scales and hold our part in a relatively simple SATB song while she plays the others and do warmups with her and isghtsing and stuff. I got in my sophomore year and didn't have to audition again so I don't really remember.
