LOL a Chinese mail order bride site is in the advertisement box as I'm replying... (they all look pretty much the same too)

Well, although I'm mainly of Asian descent, I personally have trouble telling faces apart, I could also be abnormally unobservant to people's faces, I can barely pick myself out of photos sometimes, even though I have a fairly unique face.
