The only time I've seen them was when I was horseback riding in Yellowstone. The horses didn't get scared at all thankfully... Guess they figured a coyote is too small to really worry about. But yeah, I wouldn't want my cats facing one down

Yea, but they still scare me. If I could watch them from my window knowing my cats were inside safe, I'd be happy.

Even that size of leech makes me gag... evil little buggers

And I'm glad my cats are indoor cats so I don't have to worry about them not coming home

Well, northern Minnesota is pretty much a haven for large mosquitos...they're the animal I hate most around this place. The fact that this far north area has a lot of swampland gives mosquitos a lot of breeding ground.

Also, we have more wolves than coyotes. We especially have a lot of timberwolves up here..which makes our NBA team's name pretty fitting I guess.

Oh and we have tons of leeches up here too (because we have tons of fresh water), but I rarely get any on me.

My dad used to see bears in the backyard and he would ask me if I could see them

I couldn't but I would say yes anyway.

I later found out that the bears were drug induced hallucinations.

so I don't like the make believe bears
