Yeah, I'm not really sure where it was originally located, or if they spread it, or what. I'm assuming it's been spread to a lot of places, considering how quickly I saw it posted on /f/, here, and NSF.

What are /f/ and NSF?

And maybe you're right even if PETA only posted on their website it could have spread elsewhere pretty quickly. I don't really understand how these things work. It really doesn't seem that malicious to me but maybe I am not looking at it from the right way.

/f/ is the flash board on 4chan, and NSF is an Nsider spin-off

in essence, everyone knows about this flash by now, it seems, so PETA definitely got the exposure they wanted

Same here, honestly. I may go to 4chan, but its bloated presence on the internet and it's "influence" annoys me to no end. I wish it had stayed a smaller place.

And NSF mostly sucks...I just happen to go once in a blue moon, and noticed that someone posted that.

If PETA were a group who simply wanted animals to be treated in more humane ways, I'd be all for it. However, when they do things like this, nobody takes them seriously and we all just see them as a bunch of maniacs.
