12-hour or 24-hour

I think 12-hour with ante-meritime (AM) and post-meritime (PM) is better and my reason is not just because it's the system I'm most used to.

I think 24-hour is better, with times ranging from 00:00-23:59

I don't care

I like 12-hour more, but I'm only picking this because it's the only clock system I've used or at least the one I'm most familiar with

I want to make up and use some other currently-unproposed clock system

I like 24-hour clocks and I set any clock I have with the option to 24-hour system. My watch is set to 24 hours, my computer is set to 24 hours, my DS is unchangeable 24-hour default, and my time settings on forums which have the setting is set to %H:%M:%S (24-hour w/ leading zero).
With 12-hour time, I don't like the text string length being extended by 3-5 characters, that I can wake up at an obscure time and not know whether it's ante-meritime or post-meritime (which I have done several times during the summer), that 12 is a fake zero, that time ranges make less sense when including noon (especially if they exceed 12 hours in length), and that some planned events can be announced to occur at something like seven o'clock with no AM/PM specification.

I like the twenty-four hour system, it makes it easier to tell what time of day it is if there's no notation of AM or PM and it makes it easy to tell how many hours something is if it spans several hours past noon.

Skylark

I also like the twenty-four system. It just makes more sense to me but I can use both fairly comfortably (though I am more used to the 12-hour time system.

It's hard to convert it to 24-hour when you're used to 12-hour. saddood;

don't let's

It doesn't matter to me.

Kalahari Inkantation

I'm more used to the 12 hour system, but the 24 hour one makes more sense and is much more efficient. It makes it easier to tell time because you never use the same number twice.

bluaki

I edited poll choices to give better wording. You can change your votes.

Wrench

I love 24 hour clocks. I only have a 12 though.

Lotos

I'm used to the 12 hour one, therefore I shall vote for that.

CutLess

I use both equally.
