We took a field trip to DC in eighth grade and this homeless guy told us to stay in school.

Homeless people are not that prevalent in LA and Rancho Palos Verdes but in Downtown there are lots of bums. One time I went downtown to run some errands and this bum came up to me and said
"Hi son, spare some change"
and I replied "lolwut [sic]"
and he looked at me all weird and muttered, "stupid 4chan kid"  and walked away.
It left me wondering the rest of the day how he knew about 4chan.  O_0
