I've showed up to class fashionably late on several occasions, but never have I skipped a whole class. I've just never had a good enough reason. I'm not opposed to skipping class if it's really worth it.

I've skipped my last period a few times in new york city a few times, once was to avoid a fight (It was going to be 4 against one and I rather not even fight to start with) and the others were because I didn't feel like staying, or I had something I wanted to do (Like going into manhattan for some event)

It was only about 4 times out of my 10th grade year. Here, I can't even leave if I wanted to.

My school has an automated system that calls your house if you go to school and then miss a period,, but it's really not that hard to go home and delete the message after school.

I've never ditched class.  I've nearly missed a class because I was sleeping, but otherwise, I'm usually always on time and present.

Not once, I tried skipping gym because I was a bit late but I wound up going to class after five minutes. It was so boring.
