What a great movie.  befuddlement

About a boy who grows up in the slums in a city called City of God. Based on a true story. Check it.

The movie sounds like something interesting to see though

tell me how it is.

sequels aren't ever original and because of this they fail to entertain as much or close to the first movies. but if it's good i have to check it.

Yeah, it's been one of my favorites for a long time... definitely top 5.

City of Men is also good but doesn't quite live up to it, although that would be pretty hard for anything to do. It's not really a sequel as much as just another movie about different people growing up in the slums of Rio. Same style and everything, though.
