My Mac Book Pro takes about 30 seconds to actually start up, then I log in and everything takes 5-15 seconds loading.

I just leave my computer on all day so I don't have to turn it on.

I guess it takes like around a 2 minutes for all accounts to start.

ask any mac user and i'm pretty sure they'll back me up if you don't want to watch that video.

super late edit: I timed it myself.  28 seconds from pressing power to being able to login.  15 seconds(including a typo with my password and loading quicksilver after logging in) from the login screen to being online with safari.

43 seconds from pressing power to being able to browse the internet. CAN YOUR XP DO THIS?

Lotos

My downstairs computer does not want a new service pack.  It doesn't have service pack number two.   gonk;

Gamosan

My XP takes about 40 seconds, give or take 3-4. It is a brand-new custom machine, though.

I don't care how long it takes because its' really fast and I don't know... If I do turn my computer off I turn it on when I get home from school and then go make some oatmeal... and its' all ready.
