I think the guy was testing me for manners because he was being an asshole the entire time and I just remained polite.

Most likely he's just an asshole. My instructor never spoke once, until I was done. I figured if I had failed he would let me know so I kept going and he kept scribbling. I only got one minor defecation for going through a yellow.

Well the lasy I had the first time also said literally nothing the entire time. I thought that they actually weren't supposed to tell you anything, considering it's a test.

But this guy said some things "look over your shoulder" while I was parking, and "if you wave them across, then you might as well let them cross" sarcastically when I was waiting for some people to cross the road but I guess creeping forward.

But the guy at the end like totally changed, was nice, understanding, etc.

If you didn't pass you could always drive without a license, it's not like they pull everyone over. But you actually have to know how to drive..which is why they have driving tests.

I guarantee you I would get pulled over if I drove without a license. I have terrible luck.
