When I got s gamecube and it dropped like $50 a week later.  

The same thing happened to me when I needed a new ping pong paddle. It was $90, but it had a fantastic light weight blade and the rubber was great for slices and smashes so I got it regardless of the price. A couple of weeks after I bought it, they dropped the price down to $45.

And I only needed a paddle because the other two I had left in my school locker towards the end of the school year. A couple students assured me the custodians wouldn't touch it seeing as how we keep the same lockers for next year. A week or so before school started, other people kept telling me they clean out our lockers during summer. So I go straight to school, only to find that my locker was left completely barren. As it turns out, the custodians decided my paddles would be more useful in the hands of some orphans who don't know shit about ping pong.

People care about me, even if it isn't deeply. I was in the delusion that everyone hated me for a while.
